Ok so I am the worst blogger....EVER!!!! :)

So since it has been well over a year since I posted anything on here, I will post a recap of my life since December of 2009. YIKES here it goes. In January I was in school, I was taking Engish 102, Digital Photography 2, Survey of Music History, and Introduction to Theatre, and a community service class that was called S.L.I.C.E. It stood for Serve, Learn, Inspire, Change, Educate. So three out of five classes were bomb!! the other two not so much haha!! English, Photo, and S.L.I.C.E. were amazing and I had tons of fun in them. For Spring Break 2010, I went to San Diego with my S.L.I.C.E. group and we did service along the border. We cleaned up a playground area, painted a dance stage, and helped clean up a community center. It was a lot of fun and very tiring too. Then that summer...well I looked for a job but didnt find one until later in the year...November. So I kind of just did not too much of anything. I did go to girls camp though. I went as a cook. It was...interesting not being there as a girl, but as a leader. Then this last school year was pretty fun. I took Public Speaking (AMAZING!!!!!!), Interculteral Communications (also AMAZING), History 102 (not amazing), CIS 105 (computer class it very nearly killed me!!), and Art History (AMAZING!!!!!!!). The ones I loved werre just so awesome and I looked forward to going to school; and the ones I didn't love, well they SUCKED!! Then this last spring semester I took Interpersonal Communcations (AWESOME TEACHER!!), Art History 101 (AWESOME), a Nutrition lecture, a Nutrition Lab (both were meh whatever), and then lastly I took a Geology Lecture and a Geology Lab, (those were pretty much amazin because I was amazing at them without really trying haha). And when May came around I GRADUATED GCC!!!!!!!!! The actual graduation ceremony was really long and it was digustingly hot outside, mostly because I was wearing a black pollyester graduation robe thing, but yeah it was like 2 1/2 hours!!! And so the summer of 2011. Oh yeah I forgot to say I did finally get a job. I work/ worked at Bath & Body Works. My first day there was..BLACK FRIDAY! When they first opened at midnight!! It was insane to say the least! lol. I now have a job at a doctors office as a file clerk, but I don't start there for a few more weeks. Anyways back to summer, I am my family went to the beach and camped ther for a week. LOVED IT!! Although I did get a sunburn that was really bad in some spots it looked like bruises :0 but it was relaxing and super fun as always. There has been lots of not fun summer drama :P bleh not going into that!! and there has also been some super awesome things!! I turned 20!!!!! HOLY CRAP I AM GETTING OLD! My cousin Natalie who lives in Washington, is living here this summer to help care for my grandmother, it has been super fun hanging out with her and spending time with her. (Even though a lot of the time we spend together we are painting my grandmas house!) This Summer I have decided to take some summer school classes. I have Small Group Communications, Intro to Communications, and Psychology 101. I have only been in class 1 week and I can already tell, I am in for a rough next 4 weeks! oh and incase you didn't catch on (all of the 3 people who might read this) I have figured out a major!!! I am a Communications Major with an Emphasis on Public Relations!! YAY ME!!! ok well I have some homework which sadly will not do its self :( But I may update again before another year and a half go by! No Promises though!


PS you would think that a college graduate would be able to think up better words than awesome and amazing to describe something, hmm guess not! lol

life

well these last umm.... four months have been pretty hectic to say the least. i started college in August and it has been... well ok. it is not my favorite thing in the world, but not terrible. I am not loving some of the classes, but i am doing ok in most of them. my communications class is dumb! so when i was signing up for my classes over the summer the guy helping me sign up was like hey this communcations class fits you schedule, and you need it for a general studies degree. he didnt tell me that it was ONLINE!!! ugh! so the class is interpersonal communication online. stupid i know. I love my photo class. (except for my final which is kicking my BUTT!) ugh any my english class is going a lot better now than in the beggining of the year. (i failed my first paper) but then i got and A on my mid term and a high B on my next paper so i am doing much better! (except for the final which is also kicking my BUTT! lol) my math class is going surprisingly well i have and 84% wich considering i barely passed my high school math class with a 70% lol. but i have been also looking for a job no luck there so it sucks. i am excited for next semester though i am in a community service program called slice and we get to help people in the valley and in san diego which means i get to go to san diego for spring break!!! i am excited! and i have only on core class englilsh 102 (the rest are electives to get them done). i have had fun i saw new moon at midnight with two of my cousins and my little sister it was AWSOME!! i am team jacob in case you were wondering lol. thanksgiving was a lot of fun and we had tons of people over at my grandmas house. i think we may need to reduce the number of people of we will end up eating outside lol. i am looking forward to this saturday it is my familys annual tamale party. my dad side of the family comes over to our house and we eat tamles and enchilades (spelling lol) and other mexican food. Gogo ( my dads mom) makes the best desserts and brings a ton of them and people bring the sides to go with everything. after we are done with dinner we re enact the nativity (this gets pretty interesting when you have teenagers who dont want to participate anymore mixed with the shy little kids who dont want to be seen.) we used to do a talent show for the kids and we kind of still do that but it doesnt work as well when we stopped taking piano lessons and had nothing to do. then we open a present from my great grandparents papa ish and millie. it is sooo much fun but i am not looking forward to the cleaning i will be doing that morning to get ready for all the people to come over to our house. it is worth it though. that is pretty much it with everything that is going on in my life.

dang i suck at blogging!!

hahaha so to say i suck is an understatement! it has been two months since i have put anything up! i think it is because i put everything up on facebook and not on here! oh well. so for starts i graduated! it was cool cause i had never been in the stadium before. and then the monday after that i left for my cruise! it was cool to be out on the water i am wierd and what was making everyone else sick i loved! i love the feeling of the boat rocking back and forth! then i made a last minute descsion to go on the trek! haha so we had to leave on friday i decided to go the tuesday before and my trek cloths from when i was 14 didnt fit anymore so we had to make new ones! so that was fun i didnt get to finish the first day because of an old injury that decided it wanted to be a pain! literally! so i was taken to back up camp with my parents. (oh by the way my feet have just started recovering from that!) then my birthday rolled around i got a SICK camera well i think so! it is the Cannon EOS rebel xsi! i love it! and my birthday started out really fun at midnight my friends tressa hilary kristen and jessica decided to kidnap me and take me to IHOP! hahaha after chalking my driveway and putting a craplaod of nasty makeup and random clothes on me! THANK U JESSICA!!!! lol but it was so much fun. then we had a YCL get ready for camp day! that was entertaining! lol needless to say a lot of dancing happened and not as much work as our leaders were hopeing for! then i saw WICKED!!! i absolutly LOVED IT :) i have heard all the songs and knew all the words. while me and my sister were waiting for it to start we got busted by and usher guy for taking pictures blech! but he was cute so it wasnt as bad! hahahaha then it was off to girls camp! BEST GIRLS CAMP EVER! i had so much fun this year! we had no drama (at least i didnt hear it lol) and i had an AWSOME little sister (a first year girl who i am paried up with to help show camp not my realy little sister who is awsome but not who i am talking about.) anyway Courtney was so cute and fun to be around she just made me smile! so since i was a third year YCL i didnt really have to do all that much outside of the craft cabin and i kind of just relaxed while i wasnt in there lol. camp this year was lots of crazyiness and fun skit night was cool i got to be the Emcee which i had no idea i was doing till about three hours before hand! and during out skit we shoved my friend kristen into a duffle bag! it was rather amusing! so now it is almost 1 in the morning and i leave in a few hours for the beach for about a week! it should be way fun. so i should go pack now!

ummmm... graduation??

so today is the tuesday before graduation and i am really sad. i really liked high school for the most part. and i am sad to leave it behind. it finally set in today though that i am graduating in two days. then in about a week i am off on a cruise that i have no idea where we will be going because of the stupid swine flu closing all the ports. then i am going to try and get a job before girls camp and my trip to the beach. and throw in my 18th birthday somewhere in there and basically that is my summer!! it should be fun. :)

so it is now very late and i cant seem to fall asleep. i just cant seem to take a nap without it affecting the rest if my day and night. (i cant fall asleep that night if i take a nap) It just never works out quite right. so i now have no braces and i dyed my hair i dont remeber if i mentioned that in the last post but there it is. my retainer however is killer. i hate it a lot. it hurts the top of my mouth which is different than the braces. and i think they forgot to clip one of the wires so it is poking my gums and it isnt pleasnt lol. so i got my senior pictures done and they look really good. i was a little scared about how they would come out but they are great. now all i have to do is graduate!

Once again it has been a while!

so it has been a long while again since I have posted anything. But there just isn't to much to say. but srping break has been fun. I spent a lot of time working on a quilt. which is turing out really good. (at least i think so) and i went to two "parties" they werent parties but just a gathering of people. we had one at my house and the other at the corbins. we played cards and jumped on the tampoline and had lots of fun. then on thursday i was runing an errand for my mom and blew a tire!! it was really embarassing! and oh yeah on tuesday i got my braces off and the next day i got my hair dyed. and for anyone who cares to know my hair is now blonde. it is different to be sure but i really like it. and in a little bit i am going to go take my senior pictures. (couldnt find the right jewelery though) so we will see how that goes. but now i am going to go.

So its been a while...

So it has been a long while since I have updated. But not much has been happening aound here. I have a new scheduale for school I have math first hour, then I am a teachers assitant for my yearbook teacher second hour, and then I have yearbook third hour. I then go home which is really nice cause then I have more time to do things like applying for jobs, which by the way if anyone knows who is hiring give me a heads up, I really need a job. (got to pay for college somehow) but yeah heather and david came up last weekend and she is getting huge, we are in the process of planning her baby shower right now. I am in charge of getting the adresses for people who we dont know where they live. Its a harde thing considering I dont know where they live either. but oh well life goes on. well got to go for now!
